A map of Union County townships and precincts is now available on-line here. It's not official or anything, but it works!

Thanks to all of the folks who worked so hard during this election cycle, and thanks especially to all of the candidates. It takes a lot of courage to run for office and whether you won or not, you cared enough to try. That makes you a winner in our community.

Poll worker training

Poll Worker training for the 2010 general election will be held in the courthouse (not the library) at 6:30PM on Tuesday, October 26th and Wednesday, October 27th. Poll workers may attend either session.

Please enter through the South main door of the courthouse or use the North basement door if you prefer to avoid the stairways. (We promise that the elevator is reliable!) Training will be in the Council/Commissioners meeting room on the south end of the first floor.

Successful public test of voting equipment completed

On September 15th, the Union County Election Board completed a successful public test of our voting equipment for the 2010 general election.

Poll workers needed!

Come join us at Smoke on the Water - May 1st

The Democrats will be serving deserts to go with your barbecue starting at 11AM. Come join us for good food and a good time. Most of the candidates will be there, so this is a great chance to meet them.

If you would like to donate pies or other desert items for the event, bring them to Democrat Headquarters on April 30th or the morning of May 1st.

April 5th: Voter Registration Ends, Absentee Voting Begins.

Voter registration (or transfer) ends at 4PM on Monday, April 5th. Voter registration will resume again on May18th.

Monday, April 5th is also the first day that a voter may cast an absentee ballot at the clerk's office in the courthouse.

Public Test of Voting Equipment

The Union County Election Board will hold a public test of vote tabulation equipment in the basement of the Union County Courthouse at 8:30AM on April 7th.
